Ticketing – provider: To book online tickets on this website, we use the booking system of Ticketpark GmbH, Birkenweg 61, 3013 Bern. If you make a booking on our site, you agree to the storage and processing of your personal data by Ticketpark. Google Maps: We use Google Maps on our website to display our location and to provide directions. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. To enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established when you visit our website. If you access the Google Maps components integrated into our website, Google will store a cookie on your device via your internet browser. Your user settings and data are processed in order to display our location and provide directions. We cannot prevent Google from using servers in the USA. By connecting to Google in this way, Google can determine the website from which your request has been sent and the IP address to which the directions are to be transmitted.

Newsletter: If you have subscribed to our newsletter using your email address, we will store and use this address to send you our newsletter with information and advertising about us until you decide to unsubscribe. We use the newsletter service MailChimp, based in the USA, as our newsletter service. We would like to point out that the data collected and used via MailChimp is stored and processed on computers in the USA. By consenting to receive our newsletter, you hereby declare your consent. Your email address will not be passed on to third parties in any other way.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. Every email with our newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. The online presence of the Natural History Museum of Bern includes additional services from YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Flickr, and ResearchGate. Some of these social media, video and streaming services are integrated into our website in order to display content or to link to our channels. Plug-ins of these services may be used on the website, which are recognizable by corresponding symbols. These elements are disabled by default. If you activate these elements by clicking on them, the operators of the respective platforms can record that you have visited our website and can use this information in accordance with their privacy policy. Your personal data will then be processed under the responsibility of this operator in accordance with its privacy policy. We will not receive any information about you.
